This is where ideas go to die...but like everything on The X-Files, dead doesn't have to mean dead.
Writing fanfiction is, for us, a very co-creative process. We cannot do it alone. We feed off the inspiration provided by Chris Carter, David Duchovny, Nicholas Lea, the various writers of the show, and the archetypal characters of Mulder and Krycek, and we draw on the inspirations of our own minds and souls, but we also feed off the excitement and ideas of the other fans, the readers and writers, through the feedback we receive on the stories. Without that, the muse dwindles away and even really exciting story ideas die. With that, things that had lust their luster for us suddenly shine with a new attractiveness, beckoning us to continue them. You are as important a part of this process as the show itself. Your feedback is essential to the continued creation of this work. Thank you, deeply and profoundly, to all of you who have supported our muse this way in the past.
Okay, now some of these were posted and some of them weren't. All of them are unfinished. If you read something you'd really like to see continued, PLEASE take the time to send us some feedback, including why you want to see it continued, and maybe even your own ideas about how. We make no promises that we'll use your ideas, or that we'll even write on these again, but if we get enough outside enthusiasm to feed off of, you just never know what might happen.
